Internships in the arts provide exposure to practical hands-on experience and networking opportunities that will surely serve you well when applying for college. The Vault has over 10+ Arts Internships.

1. Met High School Internship Program — DragonFruit

The Met Fifth Avenue, New York Shuniya 4.

Applicable grade level: NYC high school sophomores and juniors

Dates of Program: Spring (Jan-Jun), Summer (Jun-Aug)

Deadlines: October for the school year, March for Summer

Compensation: New York State minimum wage

2. Teen Programs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA

Eligible Graders: Rising ninth, eleventh and twelfth graders in the Boston area

Dates: Year-long program

Deadline: On a rolling basis

Stipend: $15/hour

3. Teens: Opportunities at the Art Institute

Location: Chicago, Illinois at the Art Institute of Chicago

Who is Eligible: Chicago Public High School students ages 16+
